Hi! I hope you’re doing well. You asked about my routine in your earlier e-mail. Let me tell you about my routine in İstanbul. My lessons start at 8 o’clock. We have four lessons in the morning.
At lunchtime, I go to the canteen. After lunch, we have three more lessons. I leave school at half past three. In the afternoon, I normally go home and do my homework but this week I am at school with my classmates to decorate the classrooms and notice boards. You know, it’s National Sovereignty and Children’s Day on 23 April. We don’t have any lessons that day. We have so many fun activities. We play games and perform our shows. I’m so excited about it. Selam! Umarım iyisindir. Önceki e-postanda günlük düzenimi sormuştun. Sana İstanbul’daki düzenimden bahsedeyim. Derslerim saat 8’de başlıyor. Sabahları dört dersimiz var.
Öğle yemeği vaktinde kantine gidiyorum. Yemekten sonra üç dersimiz daha oluyor. Okuldan saat üç buçukta çıkıyorum. Öğleden sonraları normalde eve gidip ödevlerimi yaparım ama bu hafta sınıfları ve panoları süslemek için sınıf arkadaşlarımla birlikte okuldayım. Biliyorsun, 23 Nisan Ulusal Egemenlik ve Çocuk Bayramı. O gün dersimiz yok. Çok eğlenceli etkinliklerimiz oluyor. Oyunlar oynuyoruz ve gösterilerimizi sunuyoruz. Bunun için çok heyecanlıyım. Ankara’daki okul düzenin nasıl?

Thanks for your e-mail. It’s great to hear
about your school. Now, I will tell you about
my routine in Ankara. I leave home early for
school. It starts at 8 a.m. We have to arrive
at school on time. I have breakfast with my
friends in the canteen. In the morning, we have
four lessons and then we have a long break
for lunch. We play volleyball in the garden. We
have three more lessons in the afternoon. My
school finishes at 3 p.m. After school, we have
rehearsals for the Commemoration of Atatürk,
Youth and Sports Day. On 19 May, we celebrate
it with joy. We have sports events and we show
our skills. That’s all for now. I hope we can meet
one day.

Okul çıkışında Atatürk’ü Anma, Gençlik ve Spor
Bayramı için provalar yapıyoruz. 19 Mayıs’ta
bu günü coşkuyla kutluyoruz. Spor etkinlikleri
yapıyor ve yeteneklerimizi sergiliyoruz. Şimdilik
bu kadar. Umarım bir gün görüşebiliriz.
